When selecting individuals for a retraining programme please take the
following into account:
The academic staff to be selected for a retraining visit should be colleagues that are
quite familiar with the aims and objectives of the project and have been actively involved
in the project activities until now.
The relevant departmental and faculty authorities have to support the selection of
candidates. The candidates should be chosen on equal basis from the different Development
Work Groups - General and Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and
Physical Chemistry.
The candidates have to prepare presentation materials of their institution, department,
educational and scientific activities so that they can demonstrate them during their visit
at the EU host institution.
The candidates have to contact lecturers from EU host institutions and to identify the
academic tasks of the visit and the dates of the mobility.
After receiving an official letter of invitation from the EU host institution, the
candidates have to contact the Coordinators office for organising their mobilities.
An official confirmation for the E-W mobility by the authority of the BG home institution
is necessary.
Each candidate is supposed to get his visa by himself and to arrange the travel
insurance.
An order for the mobility will be given by the Coordinator at the University of Plovdiv.
The JEP Coordinators administrative office will buy the plane tickets. The
grantholder will receive 80% of the grant before the mobility and the other 20% will be
paid after the accomplishment of the mobility and acceptance of the IGHR from the
Coordinator.
The visitor must submit the following documents to the Coordinator within two weeks
after the completion of the E-W mobility:
Original plane tickets
